Madhya Pradesh is located in the center of India, that is why it is also known as the heart of India. The state is bordered on the west by Gujarat, on the northwest by Rajasthan, on the northeast by Uttar Pradesh, on the east by Chhattisgarh, and on the south by Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh has many different and distinct cities having different languages and culture. Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh whcich is a fusion of the old and the new. Other important cities include, Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho, Omkareshwar, Chitrakoot, Mandu, Jabalpur, Sanchi, Kanha, Datia, Ujjain, Amarkantak, Panchmarhi.
